In 2020, TD selected Applied Electronics to provide consultation, system design, supply, and integration services for a brand new broadcast control room and NDI-based production studio. Although pandemic restrictions prolonged the project timeline, system installations began in May 2022 and was fully completed within 6 weeks to meet the target live-to-air launch date of June 15, 2022.
TD’s vision was to produce a full television-quality live newscast with live studio and remote guests via Teams, Zoom, Facebook, or any medium. Their financial journalist hosts would access in real-time the latest financial news, up-to-the-minute content, graphs, stock reports, the best analysts, financial planners, and portfolio managers as guests.
